What is Coaching?


Coaching is a powerful practice that identifies and addresses professional goals, business challenges, and career transitions. 

During the coaching relationship, clients have the opportunity and space to determine what is currently happening in their life, identify obstacles or challenges, and create strategies for success. The client consciously designs what they would like their professional life to be like and takes action to make it happen. 

How Coaching Works:

  • An initial session occurs in person or over the phone to learn more about the client and to develop goals. 
  • In follow-up sessions, the coach and client continue to develop the client's goals and move the client forward towards success. 
  • Frequency of sessions depends on the client and the subject matter, sessions can be weekly, twice a month or monthly.
  • After an initial engagement, the client can schedule periodic check-ins to maintain progress.
